a professional Chef, Food Stylist, Recipe Developer, Food Consultant and Trainer with more than 20 years of experience in food and beverage industry.
She graduated in 1999 majoring Food Management from Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung (Bandung Tourism and Hotel Institute). Worked in Sheraton Towers Singapore and Fujiya Hotel Japan. She set up her own Indonesian food catering company in Indonesia and became full time food stylist for leading international food magazine, Sedap Sekejap (Gramedia), which also catered various cooking books, magazines, tabloids and advertisements. Been staying in Singapore since 2005, over the years, Yuli has mastered Asian cuisines such as Singapore, Malaysian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino and Indian. Not forgetting her true love, Indonesian cuisine. She’s also trained in French and Italian cuisine.
Known as a hardcore foodie and passionate adventurous cook, she also developed her growing love for photography and videography.Her culinary art skill and artistic sense are the perfect combination of her works. She keeps up with the latest food and fashion trends to ensure her styling is always innovative and at the cutting edge.
Yuli’s creativity includes working on challenging food shots like ice cream, butter, yoghurt, burger, sandwich, drinks and any other difficult and complicated food. With patience and persistence her works always made clients satisfied as she constantly thrives for excellent in working and playing with food. She has worked with lifestyle and food magazines like Food and Travel, The Singapore Women’s Weekly and Savour. Not only food, she have styled beauty products, too.
Her clients include F&B giants like McDonalds, Mccafe, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Häagen-Dazs, Breadtalk, Nestlé, also leading shopping centre Takashimaya, ION Orchard, CK Tangs and Isetan.
Yuli enjoys travelling around the world, savoring various cuisines, from street food to lavish haute cuisines which inspired her recipes creation and food styling. She also other provide services like food presentation, food styling training, consultancy for restaurant and chefs to achieve certain standard of styling as well as creating contents for social media and short video advertisement.
